ABOUT 

Lynette McCarthy is a Chicago- based, fine art and commercial photographer. Her passion for visual narratives is evident in her often dark and mysterious or bright and witty photographs.

 

Her educational background encompasses the study of Graphic Design, Illustration, Architecture, and Photography. Although her degrees appear creatively independent of each other, they are not mutually exclusive. Her work benefits from her cross-disciplinary education, directly contributing to the overall mise-en-scène of her imagery. The result is the construction of images that are intentionally loaded, reflecting her fascination with cinematic melodrama, dramatic lighting, and fashion photography.
